Brief 5 Printer quotes

Keith has sent me through some quotes from Swift print for the booklets and Ive also had some proofs printed.  He did this so I could see the quality of the digital print.  I must say I am disappointed with the print quality.  It works best on the 130gsm  but Im not that thrilled with the quality of the stock.

He recommended I get a couple more quotes which I have one from

It is slightly more for the silk but only a few pounds.

 Enterprise in Honley was quite alot more expensive

Sim Print in Halifax were much more competitive so I paid for proof and the quality was much better plus the prices they quotes were for 250gsm covers and 150gsm stock inside, I hadnt realised we could digital print laminated I thought it was just litho.

It was another £25 for 150 laminated covers, £35 for 250.

He also recommended I ditch the gradient or make it darker.  He said with digital it is best avoiding large areas of grey, gradients and also pastels.

The prices I originally showed Bernie were with Aura Print 

I think i prefer the Sim Print prices its just persuading Bernie to pay slightly more for a betetr quality finish.  I am meeting Bernie and Yvette to finalise design and agree printer on Friday 18 May
