Brief 4 designing for laser cut

I am aware I will have to think carefully about the point size, leading and tracking of type when designing for laser cuttings.  I asked Tom about this is said the laser cutter will round off sharp corners and the minimum width is 4mm.

Because the veneers that Tom is making will be very thin we will probably be able to get away with more space between objects.

I have found these guides online:

Guide to laser cutting

Tips & tricks

This one is better as its for Illustrator

These are the files I sent to Tom.  As he has still not decided about his website we decided just to put his phone number on these test pieces.  I sent them as .dwg, .ai and .pdf formats.
